
“Cedars Sinai Connect”, a Product Explainer Film
A strategic video campaign that brought Cedars Sinai Connect to life—crafted to inform, inspire, and support a major telehealth launch.

The Challenge
Cedars Sinai is one of the largest hospital systems in Los Angeles. In 2023, they launched their telemedicine service, Cedars Sinai Connect. Cedars, along with their technology partner K-Health, asked us to help with the video marketing.
The Solution
Our 3-Step Brand Story Video Strategy to create a hero video for the homepage, supporting social ads, and loads of content for the website.
✦ Strategy
First, we determined the message, video type, and placement strategies. For them, this meant the pillar video would be a product-focused brand video for the homepage of their website.
Second, we entered production. At Union, we handle all scripting, locations, casting, scheduling, etc. Filming took 2 days in Los Angeles and 1 day in Connecticut. Then, the edit took about 5 weeks to complete before being ready to roll out on the website.
Third, we organized all the footage into a searchable, cloud-based library we call Toolbelt. From this, their web team created a looping video background for the website and every still image was pulled from our video shoot.
